Thesis topic: ‘Growth, fruiting and fruit quality of apple trees on seed rootstocks depending on methods of pre-planting preparation of soddy-podzolic sandy soil in Polissya, Ukraine’ (2006)
Brief biographical information:
Born on 21 August 1958 in the village of Neterebka, Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi District, Cherkasy Region.
Since 1982, an agronomist, leading agronomist, junior research fellow at the Department of Sand and Low-Productive Land Development, since 2001, research fellow at the Department of Agrochemistry of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Horticulture.
Since 2004, he has been deputy head of the Department of Horticulture, Viticulture and Nursery Stock of the Ukrainian State Concern for Horticulture, Viticulture and Wine Industry, since 2005, head of the Department of Horticulture, Viticulture and Nursery Stock Markets of the Ukrsadvinprom Concern, and since 2009, advisor to the head of the concern.
Since 2012, he has been a senior researcher in the Nursery Department of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.

Labour award from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, ‘Sign of Honor’.
Public activities
Member of the editorial board of the journal ‘Garden, Grapes and Wine of Ukraine’.
