Brief Biographical Information
Born on October 13, 1964, in the village of Tymiriazevka, Sarykol District, Kostanay Region (Kazakhstan).
In 1986, graduated with honors from the Fruit and Vegetable Faculty of the Uman Agricultural Institute (now Uman National University).
Since graduation, she has been continuously working at the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, starting as a technician in the Laboratory of Stone Fruit Crops (1988). From 1992 to 1995, she studied in a postgraduate school.
In 1996, she defended her PhD thesis on “Productivity of Sweet Cherry Depending on the Type of Plantations in the Conditions of the Northern Forest-Steppe of Ukraine” (supervisor – Doctor of Agricultural Sciences K.D. Tretiak, Institute of Horticulture, NAAS).
In 2014, she defended her Doctoral dissertation on “Scientific Foundations of Industrial Sweet Cherry Cultivation in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine.”
From 1995, she worked as a junior researcher and, since 1999, as a senior researcher in the Laboratory of Agrotechnology.
Since 2002, she has been the Head of the Breeding and Technological Department of Stone Fruit Species, from 2007 – the Head of the Laboratory, and since 2014 – the Head of the Department of Fruit and Berry Crop Cultivation Technology.
In 2017, she was appointed Head of the Breeding and Technological Department of the Institute of Horticulture of NAAS.
