1980–1986 – Junior Researcher, Ukrainian Research Institute of Horticulture (now Institute of Horticulture of NAAS)
1986–1998 – Senior Researcher, Institute of Horticulture of NAAS
1998–2016 – Associate Professor, Head, and Professor, Department of Horticulture, National Agrarian University of Ukraine (now National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES)
1979 – Defended PhD dissertation; 2002 – Defended Doctoral dissertation
Since 2016 – Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine
Current Activities: Continues scientific research on clonal selection and apple variety studies at the Institute of Horticulture of NAAS. Member of the specialized academic council D 74.844.01 (Uman National University of Horticulture) and editorial boards of three scientific journals included in the list of professional agricultural publications.
Participation in International and National Projects:
Agreement with the Belarusian Research Institute of Pomology dated 23.02.2000 on the study of apple varieties under Ukrainian conditions and the use of 14 apple samples (varieties and elite hybrid forms) of Belarusian breeding in the selection process.
Agreement with the University of Warsaw dated 21.08.1999 on the study of apple varieties under Ukrainian conditions and the use of 7 Polish-bred apple varieties in the selection process.
Agreement with the Dresden-Pillnitz Breeding Center dated 28.09.2009 on the study of apple varieties under Ukrainian conditions and the use of 6 German-bred apple samples (Re-varieties) in the selection process.
Agreement with the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES) on cooperation in scientific research concerning the quality and storability of apples, studying yield potential and effectiveness in columnar and new standard apple varieties (2005–2021).
Professional Development:
Most recent qualification improvement: October 2023 at the Selection and Genetics Institute on the topic: “Methodology of Breeding Varieties and Hybrids of Cereal … Crops” (Certificate No. AA 00494628/000171-23).
