Brief Biography:
Began professional career in 1977 as a vineyard team leader, agronomist, and chief agronomist at specialized enterprises producing grapes, fruits, and wine in the Kherson region
1982–1992 – Head of the fruit-nursery division of the state farm “Michurynets”
1992–2005 – Director and then Chairman of the Board of the state farm-plant “Kamiansky” (Kherson region)
1999–2003 – Postgraduate studies at the Odesa Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking named after V.Ye.Tairov
2006 – Deputy Head, 2012–2019 – Head of the Department for Horticulture, Viticulture, and Winemaking at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine
Since 2020 – Senior Researcher, Department of Scientific Developments in Horticultural Technology, Institute of Horticulture, NAAS; serves as Authorized Representative responsible for organizing and conducting procurement procedures/simplified procurements.
Active member of working groups at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy (currently Ministry of Economy) on horticulture and viticulture/winemaking development
Participation in International and National Projects:
2016–2017 – Initiator and one of the leading developers of a project to amend the Law of Ukraine “On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl, Cognac, and Fruit Spirits, Alcoholic Beverages, and Tobacco Products,” which enabled the establishment of small-scale fruit, berry, and grape wine production, as well as mead beverages, supporting their development.
2000–2006 – Participation in sessions of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine held in Argentina, New Zealand, South Africa, France, and other wine-producing countries.
