Brief Biography
Born on January 19, 1960, in Dybintsi, Bohuslav District, Kyiv Region. In 1985, he graduated from Uman Agricultural Institute (now Uman National University) with a specialization in Fruit Growing and Viticulture.
After graduation, he worked as a foreman of a vegetable brigade at the Shevchenko Collective Farm in Trostynka and as an agronomist-horticulturist at the Roslavychi State Farm in Ivankovychi, Vasylkiv District, Kyiv Region. In 1989, he entered postgraduate studies at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Horticulture.
Since 2001, he has held positions of Junior Researcher, Researcher, and Senior Researcher in the Laboratory of Agrotechnology and the Selection and Technology Department. From 2004 to 2006, he headed the Department of Pome Fruit Cultivation Technology at the Institute of Horticulture, NAAS of Ukraine. Since 2007, he has been working as a Leading Researcher in the Selection and Technology Department.
